Pentacon was principal contractor & work scope was to construct a new 2-span concrete bridge and associated roadworks.

  • Reinforced and improvements to the existing bridge

  • Earthworks to fill and spoil

  • Construction of a new 2-span concrete bridge with a single centre pier

  • Re-alignment and construction of bitumen on gravel approaches

  • Road furniture and line marking

  • Scour protection and permanent erosion measures

  • Demolition of existing timber bridge

  • Rehabilitation of the redundant approaches.
