Sarina Northern Drainage - Stage 2

Pentacon is the principal contractor for the construction of an open trunk drain, reinforced concrete invert, reinforced concrete machinery crossings with stormwater drainage.

• The existing drains were in poor condition and experienced flooding by residents.

• Site Establishment/Disestablishment was undertaken.

• Survey set out

• Location and protection of existing services

• Provision for planning, design, implementation, administration and removal of Traffic

• Management Systems (TMS)

• Safety, environmental and quality management

• Quality control and compliance testing of the works

• Condition survey of adjoining properties and surrounding areas

• Clearing and grubbing works

• Earthworks and Backfilling - Bulk earthworks approx. 42,000m3 including refilling of Detention Basin

• Erosion and sediment control devices including silt fences

• Supply and install of concrete culverts and concrete culvert end structures

• Culverts include removal and relocation of existing RCBC's

• Supply and install of stormwater chambers

• Construct reinforced concrete drain invert and concrete machinery crossings

• Rock protection

• Type J subgrade treatment along each side of the concrete drain lining and bridging layer under the concrete lined drainage to replace unsuitable soil

• Hydromulching, Hydroseeding and turfing including landscaping and horticultural maintenance period

• Restoration of all disturbed areas
