Pentacon was principal contractor & work scope was to upgrade an existing 1.9km section of road (chainage 2.8km to 4.80km) to 8.0km wide sealed standard.

Site management, traffic management, community liaison, environmental and erosion management, safety and quality management
Checking for fauna prior to vegetation clearing
Earthworks to construct road formation and table drains
Removal and replacement of existing cross-road stormwater drainage culvert
Pavement construction
Reconstruction of numerous private and forestry property accesses
Two coats bitumen seal to road and property accesses
Installation of road signage and road edge guide posts
Linemarking
Scour protection & soil stabilisation measures
Landscape and re-vegetation works
