Roper Creek Diversion & Levee

 

Pentacon was principal contractor & work scope was to construct the Roper Creek diversion and levee, and associated flood protection works.

 

  • Ensuring works are undertaken in accordance with all MCPL and statutory safety requirements

  • Clearing and grubbing

  • Topsoil stripping and stockpiling

  • Excavation and removal of unsuitable material

  • Embankment foundation stripping

  • Key trench excavation

  • Sourcing suitable embankment fill

  • Embankment fill material placement including borrowing (excavation), moisture conditioning, haulage, placement, compaction and trimming to the specifications

  • Supply and installation of erosion protection works including rock lined channels and rock chutes

  • Sub-soil and topsoil amelioration, topsoil placement and hydromulching

  • Inspection and testing, quality assurance
