Pathways and Bus Stops 23 - 24-Package 1

Pentacon was engaged as principal contractor for construction of Pathways and Bus Stops 23-24 - Package 1 for Noosa Council.

The scope of works consisted of footprint upgrades, construction of new concrete pavement, and the upgrade of 4no. Translink bus stops throughout Noosa Heads and Tewantin area including works within the RSL Memorial Park and the Noosa Spit Recreation Reserve.

• All planning, site management and civil construction works associated with the Pathways and Bus Stop Package

• Detailed pedestrian and traffic management working in pedestrian dense areas of Noosa Heads (Hastings St) and Tewantin (RSL Memorial Park & Outlook Drive)

• Demonstrating cultural and social awareness in construction; undertaking works in and round heritage listed memorials, and densely populated community areas.

• Community liaison and temporary relocation of public transport facilities.

• All aspects of environmental management and controls across multiple sites, establishment and implementation of tree management plans.

• Demolition and disposal of concrete structures, existing pavement and road furniture.

• Detailed earthworks, including subgrade preparation and final trim.

• Construction of new concrete structures including footpath, kerb and channel, and road pavement.

• Road Surfacing, Linemarking and installation of road signage,

• Landscaping, installation of turf, mulch and trees as well as construction of retaining walls.
